Hey guys welcome to the magnificent city of Istanbul, home to over 16 billion people it is one of the most populated cities in the world. This place has so much historical elements dating back to Roman Empire rule under its former name Constantinople through to the capital of the Ottoman Empire and now to the current Turkish era. It is a city that you could describe as a melting pot of ethnic diversity and after travelling through many cities around Europe this city stood out the most.

These pictures were taken during the early hours in the morning where the muslim call to prayer sounded through the streets and the clear sky were lit up by stars and gaining colour during sunrise.
Later on that day there was more exploring to do, visiting the resting place of the Ottoman Royal family and a Shisha Bar.

As you can see Istanbul really is a stunning place and one I would love to return to. I would also like to say a big thank you to our friend Emre of Istanbul by night Photography tours.
