Colourful Ecuador...With A Quick Biology Class in Galapagos

Ecuador ending up being a country that tested us. We arrived when Cotopaxi was still erupting and gas masks were needed to be worn to ensure that your lungs didn't get irritated. We then followed this up with Lewis getting a serious dose of food poisoning (potentially from the milkshake he wouldn't share) and tripping out when he finally got to see the Doctor that they both had the same phone.
In saying that, especially looking back on the photos, Ecuador as a country is diverse and full of exciting and interesting areas. This ranged from Otavalo with all of the handcrafts, to in the Amazon at Tena to Banos where we paraglided with the birds over the stunning landscape.
Although this country pushed our buttons more than once, I can't dismiss it as an destination where there is something to suit everyones tastes.
Here is the photostream on Flickr where you can see all the photos together.
