Our time in Chile was a little like Argentina; it was brief. We didn't really have enough time to explore and never got down to the Southern end of the country. The little time we spent gave us the impression that Chile was rather civilised and definitely livable. The country seemed rather Western and its politic history was completely new to me until I arrived and learnt further about it. The country had colour and life but in saying that it didn't have as much life as our other destinations had been, maybe this was due to its history or maybe it was due to it being a more Westernised country compared to others we had travelled through.
