Hey guys, the Gallery of Europe is more like a mini-series where I pick a bunch of my favourite photos I have taken and give you a glimpse of the beautiful surroundings we are in.
It's been a couple of nights since we left Amsterdam and since our stopover to Cologne I have been processing the best photo's I have taken from our stay in Paris and Amsterdam. Starting off with Paris, it is such a beautiful city of classic styled architecture. Every bit of the city seems like it is built with an artistic vision and practical sense, but more so the finer artistic details are what stood out for me. The photos in the cathedral Notre Dame are my favourites due to the sheer scale of the place and next time I will definitely get some for outside the cathedral. Then we have a few photos of the Gardens of Versailles where the old monarch of France used to reside. The last few from Paris I took from the top of the Arc De Triomphe on a clear night sky. Unfortunately I didn't take as many photos of Paris as I would have liked for such a beautiful city (especially at night) but now that I know the city a little better I should be able to go back there and get everything I missed out on.

Amsterdam was completely different and I really enjoyed my time there. The old canals, small roads, dutch styled architecture and all the bikes along the streets, this place was like a breath of fresh of air. The weather was nice and sunny during our stay and it showed with the first day photos from inside our room in the morning to outside the doorstep then towards the canals. Roaming the streets of Amsterdam at night was my favourite, the city lights up very well with classic styled lamps along the street and the canal tunnels lit up. The country side of Amsterdam was almost like being in New Zealand again with the roads along the river banks and dairy farming within the area. Finally it wouldn't be Holland without a few photos of a windmill.

We are currently in Heidelberg for the next couple nights and the scenery here is amazing so I can't wait to get some new images to work on and now that I finally have a tripod (yay!) hopefully I should be able to produce better quality images.
