A Change of Perspective..Images of Boliva

View Central & South America on chellebelle's travel map.

Bolivia was a country that I didn't expect to enjoy but ended up loving our time there. It may seem silly but they left us alone, we weren't approached and offered special tourist deals at every turn instead we were just free to explore.
We started our time in La Paz where Lewis completed the Death Road while I dealt with a touch of food poisoning, then headed to the welcoming city of Sucre to see some dinosaur footprints and finally we left through the salt flats. The salt flats turned out to be an amazing experience. Going through the salt flats and then into the national park the landscape was ever changing the the colours were intense. It was a trip that is well worth it...in saying that there are some horror stories about some of the companies.

I hope seeing a glimpse of this country will make you want to explore it further.

Here is a link to my photostream and the place names will link to the albums on Flickr.

Lewis' photos are even more mesmerising than mine. The link is to just a few that he has processed.
